Well, depends...Orem is more student and family centered area, while Salt Lake is a busy city with more opportunities. The cost of life is 5% lower in Orem than Salt Lake.

For me Salt lake was so much better, I lived in Orem but I couldn't find extra opportunities to progress that I found here. Every case is so much different
